In order to fill the inevitable random empty spaces in the book, I decided in my initial plans to include 6 supplemental illustrations to use as needed. Instead of representing anything specific, I made the art to be more generically science-fictiony, letting me plug it in largely regardless of context. Notably, one of the enemy sketches was reused; this was at the request of the class, who wanted the weird looking space-dog-thing in the book, even if it isn’t as an enemy.
